Lot of challenges for new joiners. Very slow process. Roles and responsibilities are not clearly defined. I joined as a Project Manager but expectations are to manage the sales and marketing role as well. No KT session, process is not clearly defined. You will feel alone because there is no buddy system. It's been 5 months and so far I have not been given any project. I am from auditing background and my profile is being pitched to clients as Cyber security analyst ( which is something I have never done in my life). Ao far I have not been given acccess to MS Office or even MS Teams to communicate or reachout to anyone. 1) They promotes Skill development. 2) Provide access to Public Learning platform websites. 3) Growth path is good.

Dislikes

1) HR, Admin and IT Team are worst. No one listens to the Employees. 2) Appraisel is really bad. 3) Work Life balance depends on the project. 4) Not a friendly environment in the Company. 5) Most of the Employees have started their career in TCS, so working at a low payscale, so they never accept the outsider.

Before the appointment of new CEO, the compress doing great and I don’t have any regrets.

Dislikes

Employee don’t have the freedom to move to other units / domains/ verticals even if there is an urgent and immediate requirement for fulfilment.

No hikes, No technical manager Only boomer uncle sitting in the management and making employees to sit in office for 9 hours all the days to get variable pay. I worked in Accenture, cognizant they far better in terms of benefits and employee friendly organization. TCS will never grow unless it not adapted for modern culture, still it is in old 80's model and creating unhealthy environment and policies....Read More
