Worst Management, high level managers will use you in all aspects but they don’t give promotions or Onsite’s or sometimes they don’t release you from the projects. For experienced people the salary will be less, if they resign also they won’t consider to match their expectations but they will hire the external people with high packages. If you want to work in TCS, you have to be prepared that you will have less hikes and managers might be not be good. 1.Hire talent with skills and giving roles which doesn't suite their skillset and de-skill them. 2. Never promotes the employee who contributes. 3. Only one financial year you will be recognised or given A band and in upcoming years either you work or not there won't be any recognition. 4. They will set some rules and exceptions but the Hr and lead or managers won't follow or adhere to it only people below C3 has to follow and sometimes approvals were not approved on time which impacts cut down in employees salaries and HR or accounts or finance will do nothing about it and say it as employees responsibilities. 4. Everything here is employees responsibilities... if work environment is poor , washroom is dirty or network is poor or access door has issue or personal belongings stolen. Etc... nobody here is helpout anyone. Take self care or leave it. 5. Some people in bech will do fun activities like games, dance and stuff and only they will enjoy . Rest of the ppl watch and walk away. Just to showcase outside world. 6. In the name of onsite opportunity they will hire and cheat the employees 7. They will ask you to upskilled but won't let you to utilise the skill. 8. They will brag you to do some mandatory course again and again which is of no use. Just to some case they follow proceeding and for their auditing purpose. 9. They will ask you to log attendance in tcs portal , tcs excel sheet , client portal, client excel and client network excel for tcs reference. 10. In TCS Security is most priority and environment is good. Food is Good. No work pressure, like government Job

Dislikes

It's the Mindset , every time they are thinking of cost cutting. They don't use Microsoft office, Outlook, Teams...you can understand the label of cost cutting. And CTC and the amount you will receive is different.

Good work life balance. They will not fire you.

Dislikes

Appraisals and promotions are very stagnant and mostly irrespective of your performance. Ratings are average for maximum people and if you outperform, you'll get 2% hike extra. That's it. And promotions are only on the basis of years of exp. And after completing that too, they can delay for an year or two.

The appraisal process needs improvement. The goals and achievements are calculated differently than the actual measurable results.
