I don't even hate my manager as I understand they are also being pressured by their higher ups. They have no choice but to call us on Saturdays and Sundays. I am in one of the big projects in banking sector. So the pressure is high for everyone involved.

TCS is an organization that keep a tagline "Building on Beliefs" but don't stay on their words. I feel it's a worst company and following primitive methodologies of work. Once the organization was saying only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.

Salary and benefits doesn't do any good, as per industry standards. Appraisals and peomotions also at mercy of managers only.

Work culture is amazing. Work life balance is also great. But with someone like me who needs work and wants to constantly learn, tcs wasn’t the place to start. It’s good for mid level careers, not for freshers.

Work life balance is completely based on your project. If you are lucky you'll be peaceful with your work. Infrastructure is good

No learning opportunities. Promotions are often withheld for no reason. No salary benefits and negligible hike. Some projects dont even appreciate your hardwork.

Most of the projects are support type and you cannot get enough WFH flexibility extra curricular activities are very much restricted,less hikes and on site opportunities.

So many. No proper work timing. 1 person is responsible for working on business hours, non business hours and on weekend. Management is very poor. Management won’t understand your personal problems as well. Everyone will torcher you. You won’t get any sympathy even you have supported team on bad time. They say remote work would be establish but no they force you to work from office only. There is no common policy for all. It feels good working at TCS. The work culture is good, with low work pressure and lots to learn but the salary increament as per the seniority and role is low. If the salary is justified as per the seniority or designation, I would never left TCS.
