I was lucky enough to be placed in team that was very helpful with each other. The training and coordination was good, general team and environment was friendly. My team and delivery manager were excellent.

Dislikes

TCS itself was the hindrance. It is no longer employee friendly. Underpaid, Overworked and denied overtime. The clients paid TCS well enough but we didn’t see a penny for overtime for 3-4 months, until we fought for it. Change from WFH to WFO was without exception, obligatory through floods, rains, and then asked to leave early and go home and continue work at home, since we had to leave earlier because of rains/riots/etc. Appraisals were terrible. The annual appraisal compensation: in spite of getting 'A' band the compensation is not per the industry standards. There is no Market Correction happening for people like me who stayed with TCS for 14 long years, that is really frustrating. We hire new people giving them huge compensation but do not pay well their loyal employees who have stayed with them for 10+ years. I joined as a Team member and I am the Delivery Manager for a account, but the salary is not corrected per industry standards. I myself have recruited people with salary more than me in my team and they tend to move out after max 3 years. being dissatisfied with the pay structure. TCS should give Market Correction to people who have at least 10 +years of tenure with them, to show that they value them....Read More

Worst company ever no ethics, toxic work culture and here HR are like demon as they feel enjoying while employees are suffering.

TCS management are filled with opportunist, profit mongering,characterless people. During my tenure they took all my overtime money,when I raise concern to HR and GHD global help desk they simple lie and threatened me.

Best company to be at when you get 40+. I regret to join in my late 20s. Too much of learning scope. Easy to get abroad projects. Supportive team and very importantly, Best HRs. They call you by their own just by one Ping. No leaves issues. You can pickup the skills you want to learn and grow.

You can have your work life balance easily as there is not much work pressure and you can take your time without having fear of losing a job.

With work life balance comes dark things basically not much salary even though if you would be doing a work of 2-3 people you will get salary as chiller here and promotions and hike is just a joke with maximum 6% yearly hike and no promotions till first 4 years.
