Dislikes

The only drawback is promotion and compensation. Since so many people are there in the organisation hence the company will struggle to give promotion and same goes for salary increment as well. As they will allocate the certain profile with large number of employees hence you will get chiller as an increment.

The only thing I like is stability.

The HR and how they address employees is a concern. The work culture has way too much going on politically. You end up working like 14 hours a day but only get paid 200 rupees extra up till 11:30 pm or anything after. There is so much work being put in but appraisals are not very good most of the time. The pay is not enough for putting your body and mind on the line. Most of HR is pretty rude and aggressive, if you are in RMG they chose projects for you that you don't even aspire to be in. Even if you get a 4 rating you get a C banding and to get a 5 is nearly impossible. The politics need to end and even managers at higher levels need to be held accountable. People aren't trustworthy in my experience no matter how good or helpful you are to them. People are always speaking in Hindi which shouldn't happen. Company Policies are very good but management never applies them. End of the day less salaries persons/Associates/TL will effect. The benefits won't reach to them. My suggestions to TCS is pls change/shuffle the management in every 3 years.

Company culture is like corrupted politician. Talent does not matter in tcs. Your hardwork can be easily ignored with just a bottle of whisky. Fevarism is in soul of TCS. Most corrupted site is Kolkata. scandel are common with managers here. Girls are most favourite for promotions party etc.
