Nothing in specific, but can say you can just while away time for years or even get hike and promotions without knowing much if you have the blessings of higher management

Dislikes

1)First of all, the projects are very inconsistent and would last for probably 4-6 months and you need to go through off-board on-board process again 2)There would be no transparency about your career growth(vertical/horizontal). 3)The leaders you are reporting would not be aware of what you are doing hence can't understand your difficulty but still micromanage you just for the sake of showing the firm that they are even working 4)Absolutely no interest in knowing the interests of the employee let alone facilitating them 5)If you ever have new ideas, they would not be interested in hearing them nor join you in higher level management calls to get those inputs for obvious reasons 6)The management follows 200 year old strategy with importance given to formals, shoes, shave and pin drop silence in office environment failing to focus on instigating innovative ideas within the employees 7) No regular connect with sales/business teams to understand the challenges and improvise by continuous feedback method 8)Strict hierarchy is being followed and if you by-pass your line manager, there wont be much response and some people even call higher management people as 'sir' and there is such a hype that you would feel like working in industrial age Britain :D 9)Getting approval for any certification reimbursed would make you regret why do we even need company's money. It takes ages and 2 dozen people's comments and questions. 10)There is no premium access to any leading online educational sites and I don't know why do they even advise us about free sites All of the above is just my honest opinion and for enterprise transformation and managed services, I am not sure about the ISP wing. So if you feel that you want 'just' a job, have 'no curiosity' to explore more or grow exponentially and expect not much hike or recognition, it's your best fit as you would one way or other get some project if not, you will at least have 3-6 months(depends) of bench period to look elsewhere....Read More
