I spend 5 years 2 months as senior process associate however I like facilities such as transportation, meals, gatherings lot of activities which happen by Josh club, company is outstanding and I will be always grateful.

Decent company to work, but it depends on your immediate manager more than it should.
I will illustrate it through the following story: The director to which I reported was a woman, previously working as a manager assistant without IT technical knowledge (by her own words). Yet, she evaluated and ranked the staff in the database administrator team. Another director I reported to was almost completely unresponsive andpassive. My complaints about them were submitted to HR and the CEO was informed in written. - I was underutilized, almost idle. Upon my repetitive requests for more work, both in quantity and quality, my reporting director did not even respond to me. Instead, he announced two new hires. - The aforementioned female director promoted a junior DBA graduated and hired two years before, directly to a Senior DBA. Ironically, it happened two months after her colleague, the other director characterized the promoted person as "still very junior". The junior was brought formally to the same level as real senior db administrators with 20+ years of experience. The promotion caused a lot of eyebrow raisings in the organization. - The incident which made me leaving the organization happened when the female director sent out an email about the project to the people subjectively selected by her yet unrelated to the project while ignoring some of those who were involved into the project. I drew attention to her upon which she became visibly hostile to me, and indicated in all but verbally that I would not be able to remain in the organization. I resigned. - Upon my complaint to HR, she (the director) stated two false reasons for my being underutilized. I explained to HR why they were wrong and probably invented to justify purely biased and vindictive attitude. - After my resignation, my immediate supervisors mentioned above were approached by two director level individuals which knew the quality of my work, trying to find a solution to keep me. They were rejected rather brusquely. I have told the entire story to HR but I have not heard a comment. I like mainly the hybrid mode (2 day office).
Most of the managers behaves like they are the owners. Increment and appriasal system is not good. Sometimes they call to regularly come to office which is not in company policy. They do not give any leaves in Nov, Dec and January. So much favouritism is going on in Internal Joining Processes for promotion. They dont care about work life balance, thats a myth here.

I joined SunLife in January 2019, and although I'm leaving in a few months, I genuinely have no major dislikes. The company is fantastic overall. One area that could be improved is the work-from-home (WFH) policy. SunLife currently has a requirement for two days of work from the office, and if you need WFH on those days, it can be ahassle. Rather than granting WFH for urgent needs, the usual option is to take a leave, as WFH needs leadership approval. Ironically, when team volumes are high, WFH is often approved without a problem – I still wonder how that works out! Still, only two office days are required, and if you’re based outside Delhi, you can plan around this and manage longer visits home by scheduling leaves for office days. Over management which sucks sometime. You have to track your daily even single entry on MIS tracker and wise tool. You have to give your entire day's details to the tracker. You can take only 1 hour of break for the whole day it cannot be even 61 minutes. It feels you are in school. No appreciation of good work. Low appraisal. Only give 3 ⭐ ratings every year even after your hard work you put in.

I worked in finance for about 7 months. Culture is pathetic. I was not given right directions and motivation. Director in FPna is very bad in behaviour. Basically all finance directors enforce themselves over the team. There is no specific shift timing for finance. We started our day at 9:30 to end of the day. My line manager and other team members are fed up of Fpna Director. He shouts at team members. Doesn’t built personal contact with the team. Remains away from the team. Always do micro management about timings and attendances. Whole company is following 2 days WFO but finance team is following own policies. Sunlife is a great place to work with neat and cleaning ambience and very supportive senior. This company provide hybrid model In which you have to do RTO in 2 day in week. They also provide Snacks and dinner meal in the company.
