Nothing is good left about BNP now. With change in management the company is losing all its reputation and benefits First of all Bnp pays very less compared to its peers. The only reason one would stay here is job security and good work culture But now you don't see this 2 benefits also here. There is no job security left. Once yourexperience increases the management will find ways to fire you and they don't have good exit policies like jp morgan. Instead they will humiliate you and force you to resign. The work culture is going worst day by day. There is lot of office politics. You survive only if you are expert in licking ***. They are not masters in technology also. So you don't get to learn anything new here. And then after 2-3 years you become outdated as you would have done nothing great here. The present management is worst, they have no vision. Everyone is surviving by bringing other down or showcasing your own team low in front of onshore. I see no reason one should join or stay for long in bnp....Read More

WLB is good, flexible timings. Interactions with the onshore team have largely been positive. If you get a good project, there is lots to learn and many people to guide you.

Terrible company culture, too much politics. There is a lot of fluff in the middle management, they have managers of the managers but they themselves cannot tell what they actually do in a day. The focus is always on "getting things done" instead of digging in and doing it oneself. There is no eagerness to progress or taking risk totry something new. All they want is to maintain the status quo and have someone to blame when things go wrong. No vision and no support to enhance the employee skills....Read More

Experienced New joiners won't get encouragement and you have to work for the allocation not for the process. Toxic work culture where u will have more arguments with your managers. Growth opportunities are very less. Hike is also very low. If you are joining BNP try to get a good CTC and dont expect good hike and promotion if you are planning to work there for next 10 years.
