1) Limited career growth opportunities, especially in the Pershing department, compared to quicker advancement in the BNY Mellon department. 2) Lack of motivation and respect for colleagues' input. 3) Excessive bureaucracy hindering changes in the diverse work culture. 4) Poor HR follow-up on candidates' job applications, often withdelays of one month or more . 5) Leadership placing candidates in roles unsuitable for their skills and the work environment. 6) High work pressures within the Pershing department, leading to employee exhaustion. 7) Demanding 24/7 production support shiffts within the Pershing department. 8) Inadequate rest periods due to rotational shifts in Pershing Production support. 9) Insufficient focus on skill development for Pershing production support and development teams, hindering learning and growth 10) Detrimenal office politics arising from dual shift schedules within a limited 24-hour period. 11) Rejection of applicants multiple times for suitable job roles, with inconsistencies in experience requirements. 12) Slow hiring processes at BNY Mellon and Pershing (now Per X), leading to delays in processing job applications. 13) Missed project opportunities for interns in the production support team due to full-stack devevlopment training, resulting in dissatisfaction and role misalignment. 14) Absence of team change processes in BNY Mellon and Per X divisions, inefficient future work change plans, and recurring office politics in the production support team consume valuable time. 15) Poor performance ratings resulting in the absence of merit pay increases. 16) Workers became aware of impending layoffs due to restructuring changes when the new CEO announced plans to implement layoff procedures aimed at reducing staff resources from 2023 to 2024....Read More

Employees are routinely compelled to plead for basic necessities such as leave approvals, flexible work arrangements, or even the right to attend to family responsibilities — a direct result of onshore managers' blatant disregard for the well-being of their teams. In addition, employees are forced into relentless overtime because management, driven by personal ambitions, executed poorly planned and shortsighted transitions. These decisions, made with little strategic foresight, reflect a complete lack of understanding of sustainable operational practices, leaving hardworking employees to shoulder the fallout. A serious cultural issue persists as well: certain managers, particularly those based in Europe and America, continue to view offshore employees through an outdated, colonial lens — treating them as second-tier workers rather than as equals deserving of respect and dignity. The so-called "well-being" policies exist only on paper. Consider this: I am writing this at 4:30 AM on Sunday, a time when I should be resting, not venting my mental exhaustion. "There’s nothing really there to say I liked, only the food. It was okay."

The top management is really terrible. For new joiners, there’s no proper team or project introduction, no ID card or laptop provided on time. Managers don’t support or even raise the necessary tickets—they keep delaying everything. There’s no proper guidance or support at all. They don’t raise access requests for the applications required for the project, and then they blame the employees saying their performance is not good. There’s a divide between North Indians and South Indians—managers talk in separate groups. The management is the worst: there’s a lot of domination, demotivation, and public humiliation. The work pressure is extremely high, and even if you're on leave, they keep calling and mentally torturing you....Read More

Here one manager whose name is Aftab shaikh has behaviour issues and touch female employees inappropriately , passed unnecessary comments while taking leaves on Hindus festivals, he uses word babu , baby to call female employees as if they are working as servant under him.
