Nothig is good except the flexible office timing.

(1) Job security is compromised due to ineffective management. During team downsizing, managers provided insufficient support. Additionally, team members lack cooperation.(2) Internal team politics is excessive, requiring significant effort to navigate successfully. (3) The absence of a sick leave policy restricts leave options to Paid Leave (PL) or Casual Leave (CL) only. (4) Appraisals are disappointing, and Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) payouts, heavily dependent on company performance, have sharply decreased (50% to 60%). (5) The company's reported 11% growth appears misleading, influenced by workforce reductions across departments. Senior employees receive preferential treatment despite poor performance. (6) Canteen facilities are subpar, and food quality is unsatisfactory. (7) Job roles lack clear definition, causing confusion. (8) Medical benefits are inadequate, covering only Rs.3,00,000 for oneself, spouse, and up to two children. Additionally, 20% of treatment costs must be borne by the employee. (9) HR is perceived as passive, influenced by the CEO and management. (10) Employees from North and West India face discrimination compared to their counterparts from South India (Karnataka, Kerala, Chennai, Hyderabad, etc.), who receive undue advantages. Think culture depends on manager talking with sde perspective. I have luckily got two best manager so far (I wouldn't name) who has create unbelievably good cultures

Dislikes

Higher management change and chope a lot. Need more technical person at top who can take decission. One of their best manager has already left. And most experienced and capable software engineer I have ever seen has also decided to retire making some not very sound technical person holding position

I like the culture and recognition one would get here. Hence joined back as a manager again. You will have a lot of freedom, but you have to earn it. Give your best when you join here irrespective of your work/life balance. After 6 months are so… you would be noticed from top level management. The only positive thing about subex is it's work time flexibility. You can come anytime work for 7 hours and can leave.

Everything else. No hikes or appraisals. Not much to learn in terms of work. No bonus or anything. No work life balance

There are not a lot of things to like here. Perhaps some customers are good as they are associated with Subex for long time!

Poor leadership. No vision. Lots of politics. Nepotism. No skope for people with talent who can make the difference. Top management doesn't care as there is no accountability and they have secured long term contract for very high salary. Board is also equally corrupt and incapable! Company revenue is consistently going down year after year. No new logos of significance added in recent years.
