Work life balance is purely dependeny upon the team in which u r put into. The benefits and allowances used to be good, but now there is an axe of cost cutting on it. The learning curve is especially very slow and place is full of regionalism. You only get opportunity if you are a local of your boss or flatter your boss'.

a technical manager

Can we change domain after 16 years of experience?

I'm working as a technical manager (Java based) in a global Bank having 16 years of experience, my whole career is with banking and financial services. Current CTC is 34LPA. Now I think to change my job to get more salary, i get very few calls for interview because of 3 months notice period, and few of them were from different domains ( health care, logistics etc.). Is it wise to change domain? Or better to look for internal jobs with the bank?
