Made good Friends, The Office Infrastructure

Managers, Team leaders, Office Politics etc etc, the list is long. Having worked closely with the management, 1 thing I understood that SoftwareOne is not at all employee-centric. I would not recommend any employee to go to the management or even HR for any grievances other than any salary discrepancy. Why you ask? It's simply because the management is determined to hear the employee but will only listen to the team leader. They don't even try to be discreet about the bias, that's how unaccountable they are. Recently I learned from a colleague that a certain Senior Team Leader with the initials BS (see the irony) gathered data on female employees who had taken maternity leave in the last couple of years and were also working remotely. Employee friendly organization which has a very unique culture which gives you home like feeling.

Some of the managers there who thinks it is their right to use any type of language with their subordinates. On the top of that HR is not mature enough to take any action against them. These managers should be well taught to behave good with sub-ordinates so that employees can stick to this organization for the longer duration

It was a big employee centric ; employee driven business model just until two years back ...but now it's just another company doing business as literal business in totally hit and trial mode. If you want to grow and have self driven potential to learn then this would be a great place to be at right now.

Rapid & turbulent changes within the organization. Promotions and demotions are based on favoritism and not actual work impact. Unstability has been evident since 2023, and it still continues. People sitting at the top levels of hierarchy are least concerned about employee retention.

I got good colleagues and I like their company but work life balance is their, sat Sunday off and provide you all the compensation give you cab facilities and many more

Once you are senior resource they will ask you to do all the stuff, they’ll try to make you feel that you are so important to them but that’s not true, plus there’s no learning you can get, getting promotion among buttering people is like impossible.

Majority of seniors, heads, leaders are not team oriented, so you there's always a war type situation everyday to fight even with your colleagues to stand what is right and for yourself. Favoritism is the main ingredient that already destroyed many teams.
