SLK Software offers good learning opportunities for growing professionals, some good projects n clients help in skill development with new technologies. Infrastructure is quite decent in terms of set up and quality. But management's attitude, behaviour, mindset is pathetic. Some senior managers are poor in doing their job of managing projects n resources well. Promotions and salary hikes are very poor. Bad politics by senior management. Notoriously prevalent politics, bias, favouritism, corruption at management level. Favourite employees n pet employees are treated with great care n reward, whereas honest, hard working mid level senior employees n below are ignored and not rewarded deservingly. Organization policies are not uniformly enforced for employees across full hierarchy, and rules are broken/bent for pet employees and rules are implemented very strictly for others. Most employees leave SLK for three major reasons, i.e, bad salary, bad promotions n hikes, corrupt management....Read More

Only the interview process went well—three rounds of interviews, one with SLK and two with WorldPay. However, all other processes also went smoothly apart from the work itself.

I deployed to Worldpay for a fintech project just a month after the complete system setup. Both managers were constantly tracking my user stories, requesting updates, and putting pressure on me to complete all my tasks. We had to provide updates separately to both companies, complete mandatory banking courses, fill out 3 separate timesheets & 1 tacker, and handle additional status reports and other requirements. On top of that, it was a stressful job. As the lead developer, I had to work even on every Saturdays and Sundays to complete all user stories—an almost impossible task for anyone. Additionally, there was no team collaboration, and colleagues would shift blame for their failure to deliver, leading to excessive discussions. But management is very horrible. Most of the management is very old and their culture is totally different. If work time is 9hr, they are expecting us 11hr in office. Managers will force you to call them as "sir" Human resources is most horrible than management. Many people hired, then they won't assign any project.
