Likes

Work culture is very good. The location of the institute is fabulous and the fellow colleagues are very supportive. The overall working environment is best in India.

Dislikes

The job opportunities are very much less due to which a job seeker never feels secure at the place.

Work Details

I enjoyed my time at the University. I educated from there, worked there for quite some time, learned a lot about research and implementation of ideas.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within City.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
