Company caring culture, easily reachable upper management.

No all Saturdays are off, while manager level people got all Saturday off. The policy should be equal for everyone.

If the base location team is deliberately obstructing/misguiding your path & keeps poking their nose every now & then out of insecurity or whatsoever reason maybe then that's a problem organization needs to address in terms clearly defining respective work domain. Fortunately/Unfortunately in my case all though i didn't have to report to retail local area manager(was more of a good salesman and a poor manager because somehow his managerial capabilities the less talked about more the better) and honestly he wasn't worth reporting so I pity the couple of guys who report to him.However, he was so obsessed with my predecessor that his hangover couldn't get over even after 6 months of him having left the organisation. Well the worst part was that a middle level manager was defaming & passing derogatory remarks against the business head of a vertical infront of a new recruit and it can't get more disgraceful than that which says much about the culture that prevails at local levels.
