Work culture is good in Publicis Sapient in general. You have HR, Finance and IT people to help in any issue. I felt that politics & sycophant is more with position of manager and above. Who don't want lower people to grow. No career growth for technical and hard working people. Salary and appraisal very poor in comparison to other similar industries. One can only grow in sapient if he is sycophant. I had very bad experience here in sapient.

Publicis Sapient is an IT service organization which has lots of Fortune 500 clients. So there are many projects having technical and digital skill requirements. Performance reviews are detailed and frequent, so you do not get surprised at the time of yearly reviews. I like my team which big, of 50+ people. Onsite opportunities are present for Japan and Indonesia only. There are short term opportunity with Europe of 4-5 days, but I am not interested in this much short term.

There are large number of Java experienced developers here so there is always scope to learn and grown in project. Occasional Java meetups are organized by Publicis Sapient where you get knowledge about latest trends and what industry leaders areworking on. I found them particularly useful. We even have a buddy assigned during initial days of joining the organization, which helped in navigating initial month smoothly. During Covid 19, I was virtually onboarded here through 3-days webinar. There were 80+ new joiners that day, some were interns while some were senior managers. Everyone was given due time. Overall, I like the friendly environment and work culture of Publicis Sapient ( earlier known as Sapient Global Markets) for Java developers. Birthday celebrations occur in the team, where cake and sweets are also planned. Since ours is a large team of 100 people, we frequently celebrate birthdays in office, contribute for cake and snacks, and have fun.
