Uplifting vs Bringing down

I realised after 5 years in my career that most recruiters abroad expect relevant experience compared to exact work experience. Should we remove the non relevant experience. then? Some of my friends are asking me not to omit non relevant experience as in PF all experience is mentioned, but suppose I wanted to try out a particular tech stack and didn’t like it. Why should i mention that to my recruiter? Do companies in India expect the same kind of relevancy based resume?

In India, transparency might be more important due to verification processes, but you can still highlight relevant parts.
