I like the professionalism and practical approach of people here in Publicis Sapient. There are large number of Java experienced developers here so there is always scope to learn and grown in project. Occasional Java meetups are organized by Publicis Sapient where you get knowledge about latest trends and what industry leaders areworking on. I found them particularly useful. Management is good and supportive in delicate matters. You feel empowered as you can decide the work type, pace and make daily decisions. Salary expectations are not met if you have only Core Java experience.

Work culture of Publicis Sapient is manageable. Managers and all department personnel are supportive. We even have a buddy assigned during initial days of joining the organization, which helped in navigating initial month smoothly. During Covid 19, I was virtually onboarded here through 3-days webinar. There were 80+ new joiners that day, some were interns while some were senior managers. Everyone was given due time. I like the community of Publicis Sapient Java developer and how they organize meetups to stay connected across different projects. My project has open work culture where all employees are nurtured and empowered for future roles. I was provided training in advance over a year period when I was promoted to Team lead.

Dislikes

Sapient has GDD structure which is difficult to navigate sometimes.

I am a Java developer in Sapient Bangalore. Work culture is good with supporting team members, manager and negligible office politics. Sapient is good for women returning from career break as it gave me training on the latest relevant technologies and a chance to apply them.

no respect for Testing roles, QE managers are fired randomly. There is no scope of growth of testing roles here
