I think apart from salary and variable pay everything is bad. They will ask a functional person to work on testing role. Put you any project they would feel like regardless of your skill set. The culture is also bad many senior mangers are in the company for ages.. People are there in the company for so long and they do whatever they want to do.

Terrible work culture they think that employee should always be available for work after working hours at junior level also. They have clearly mentioned that they provide 5 work from home in a month but when we ask they said it is on approval of manager amd make excuses and ask for reason.

If you want to work in a professional environment where you can grow. Please choose a different MNC. You will be stuck in a corporate trap and wont be appraised by how you work, rather you’ll be appraised on how much you like to be a snitch towards your colleagues.

I like how the servers were down after office hours encouraging desk space utlilization and work-life balance efficiently. I like how i am fortunate to have worked cross cultural teams, it has people from diverse backgrounds of age, experience, education, location and gender who are all highly talented.

I like everything there but i were to give an area of improvement i would really love to see an emphasis on business ethics and morality. Newgen already has strict ethics and law but as a pioneer in product development Indian MNC they have power within the society, they affect almost every aspect of their employees' lives, and can have a major impact on the democratic process of government. They give good appraisal/hike if you have worked dedicatedly for the project. I got an average hike of around 48%in first year and 35%in second year. They give opportunities to travel onsite, and work individually on different modules.

I you work good, like you're a team player can work in cross functional teams very smoothly, can work on weekends and even extended hours, then they'll burden up with more responsibilities. My department was not at all supportive in the last few months, management is pathetic and HR is of no use. I have gained a lot of knowledge and exposure working here, got opportunity to travel to 2 different countries in a span of 3 years and work solely. But my mental health has been compromised a lot. There is variable pay in salary structure, but HR didn't tell me about VB they are fooling people around and they told me min 30 % hike but they only given me 15 % plus variable pay. BE AWARE OF SUCH SCAM. there is technology degrade over here they have hire me for Spring boot for one client but at client side they don't even use Spring, they use JSF & JSP.
