Bogus corporate politics..HR are puppets..no independent thinking of HR or ethics committee.. everything is driven as per the whims of top management mainly BU heads even if they are highly incompetent.promotes nepotism..work or talent is not seen during appraisal or promotion..the equation with your line manager only matters..not recommended for career growth and skills development

No scale in terms of salary. Have to be ready to work on 24/7. Working on holidays on regular basis. No extra allowance for that and also no compoff leave for working on holidays. Though there is a policy of taking compoff if some one works on holidays. No recognition, nominal yearly increment of some one exceeding their goal. Long term stay will not help in career growth.

Work life balance only applies to the upper level management or those who are posted at Kolkata. For people posted at branch level nothing seems to be good. Appraisal is given only on the basis of oiling BU heads. The worst part is the HRs of this company who come up with vogus policies every now and then but in times of utilising these policies they act as puppets of these BU heads.
