Not much really.

The culture was toxic, the management was terrible, the HR team was even worse, if that was even possible. They took 2+ years to pay out significant amounts in performance bonuses, no clear communication around it. Even then, they stiffed employees who worked there during the performance period but left two years later. Salaries were sometimes late. Promotions were an eyewash. When you worked from home, you were asked to apply for PTO because you were technically not in office. The manager of the editorial team, at one point, was someone who couldn’t string one basic sentence together in English. They also decided it was a good idea to play politics instead of actually review our work or assess our performance. I’m usually respectful of policies, even when those policies are stupid.
