There are few MNCs willing to hire freshers, and most of those that do only hire for customer service/voice process jobs that are dead end jobs with meagre pay and at awful shifts. Indegene hires freshers for jobs that actually have potential for growth and are industry-relevant, and offers job security, transportation, and other amenities such as hardship allowances for non-standard shift workers, and night shifters are encouraged to work from home instead of traveling to the office at odd hours, which is an excellent company policy. Dislikes

Freshers are expected to be as productive (if not slightly more) as senior team members/experienced hirees, but are paid much less on average. It is understandable that they cannot be paid as much as senior team members or experienced hirees, at least for a certain number of years, so productivity expectations should be lowered. Quite a bit of politics too. Upper management doesn't take too kindly to intelligent/individualistic thinking, and are never willing to admit their mistakes, even if it costs the client, instead, all blame is shifted to an already overworked and frustrated employee. Little opportunity for growth even at the department level unless willing to sacrifice personal life and work for 10-12 hrs a day, which is the root cause of the high attrition rate....Read More

Work Details

Job is easy, especially for the tech savvy. Doesn't require a great deal of know-how or experience. Process was a bit confusing at first but after 3 months became second nature. Extremely dry, mechanical work, little room for learning new things/skills.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.
