I have wasted my prime career for working with Globaldata..no scope of learning new technologies which were there in the market(struck at Excel only).. my sincere suggestions to new Researchers/Senior Researchers/Associate Analysts: (i) Try to learn SQL and one Programming language (which you will not chance to learn at Globaldata) such as Python, Java or any. (ii)Any Cloud like AWS, Azure Don't stay in Globaldata for more than two years...if you stay for more than two years then it is difficult to come out (some of my dear friends are still struck in the organization). pls don't do the same mistake what i did Only the one good thing what GlobalData did to me was PF & Form 16 which were used to my new company BG Verification. Upon leaving Globaldata, i am placed in one of the reputed US MNC with 300% hike. Learn & Upskill...Read More

it is a place where one can learn more about the core sector which is electricity and power in my case. However beyond this with respect to tools and methodology mapping and planning there is really not much of a learning which can be expected from this company.

Dislikes

there is really not much scope of growth in mid-level roles in this organisation. For people who are well oriented with the core sector that is really not much of growth in terms of learning. The pay is really very low and quite a decent bit away from the industry standard on the negative scale.
