This is a Manager's company, so if you know your manager then you will get salary hike/promotion/on site opportunity etc. But if your Manager doesn't know you then you will stay at the same level till your retirement.

Managers take all decision and who ever they like they promote whosoever they dislike they throw them away. In my case I had a medical reason for not taking vaccine but even after my medical certificate was verified in SiteAccess tool the company corporate team or HR couldn't retain me though I worked for the company 9 years. IBM as a company is good but even though the working hours is 9 hours the Managers or leads compel you to extend your shift in a very polished way. But it is not revealed outside, unless someone like me reveals it.

The changes in the economy and the changes in the company/management it scares about job security which was not the case earlier. Company policies has to be overlooked for at-least those who are associated with IBM for a very long time

Dislikes

Company is doing good, however pain is about the salary scale which is very low compared to outside market. Post learning On job training is a challenge or to get chance. This low down the Confidence right guidance/chance. Salary hike or band progression is a disappointment.
