In case your ancestors have suffered from slavery, IBM will make sure to make you feel closer to them by providing the same environment of hostility and harassment. Company follows the term- “once an IBMer, always an IBMer. Hence, they do not allow you to leave. In case you are looking out for HR policy or HR aid, they have taken away every right from the employee. You are not even able to decide when can you leave- since the policy clearly states that the buy out option lies with the new hiresonly. They are too flexible in terms of work, productivity matters here. No strict work from office which is great by the way.

The promotion cycle looks terrible and of course, it is a service-based company, so can't expect a huge salary hikes.

The hybrid policy even before covid. So work-Life balance is there. With wide number of projects, there are ample opportunities to work. Overall culture is good.

Taking Leaves are a struggle here unless you support in other areas. Minimum utilization is there and thus taking leaves is a pain.

Only work culture is good but that will put you in their comfort zone and you will never progress professionally.

People manager and HR are totally waste and they are never interested in your career path. You need to fight with everyone in IBM for your band progression. HR puts gun on People Manager and fires the employee. Your band progression in IBM is your worry and not your manager's worry.

There won't be any promotion and hike and if an employee work with 200 %dedication ,their won't be any hike at all.I mean how employee will be motivated for the next year and finally they will leave the company.If you need any HR support or IT support,there is no helpdesk number.You have to depend on chat bot which are worst.They neva give proper reply which you really want from them.

There is no proper development lifecycle. Though it is claimed they follow Agile, it is hardly the truth. Requirements come from various sources and are taken up without knowledge of prior commitments or priority making it difficult for the developers.
