I joined IBM 6 months ago, they don’t have a good management and no job security here they can fire you or put you on PIP without any reason

It's good company to have flexible working hours and job security is there.

There is no HR in IBM and employees don't even know who is their HR. It's manager driven company and we don't get much hikes and promotion process is very slow.

Over all good, it is your luck getting good project and manager. Upskill and certification is mandatory for senior resources.

Everything in Managers's hand. Not addressed employees concerns. You have work under shift timings though you are developer as most of the projects are US projects.

There is no work life balance at all. Appraisal is very less and promotion is very tough as it all depends on the manager however good you are.

Company is very good but people are bad. Supervisor along with other employee Bully. when made complaint nothing happens. Dont let you do job and dont follow hr policy. I was tslked very rudely by female supervisor and males bullied me by doing gestures. IF any thing happens like , do not hesitate to go to police.

Company changed working hours plolicy without employee constent or salary hike. Earlier we use to do 9 hour plolicy including break now we are advised to do 10 hour including intervals. cafeteria food price and quality manager behaviour

IBM is like employee friendly, where IBM will let us to learn lot many things and guide us to look forward in different technologies.

Once we came out of project, it's totally hard to get into new project, usually they do not have any allocation requirements.

Many of IBMers faces regional/language politics. One never give u a chance to grow unless it find u belong to a perticular region or language. So wouldn't recommend. Additionally very less pay and no perks. U never expect for promotion even.

IBM is very good company and will have work life balance ( and its also depands on project). Appraisals are also good (which is depends on your peoples manager). But my suggestion is go with good package yo ibm.

I worked here for 2 clients. 1 year per client. the project with my first client did not go as expected. the senior management to blame here. hence my (and my team mates') wlb was very bad. there were weeks I even worked for 14 hours per day. work with my second client was verygood. wlb was also very good. This company is worst. They remove the employees ruthlessly after 2 months bench.they don't have projects. Recruiting more people and layoff more. No.1 is layoffs. Worst company

IBM is good at work-life balance after working more than 7 years in IBM one thing I can say one will find very rare work place where people will not say anything once job is done , if any one can do their job none will tell anything.

Promotion and appraisal process , one should get judged by his/her work not the relationship having between manager and reportee, relationship has to be good with all but it should not be the only criteria for getting promotion and appraisal. It was really tough for me to leave IBM as it's my dream company since college time I left IBM because of manager.

Amazing work life balance and great culture. Work is challenging and there is a recent shift to product oriented work rather than traditional services and consulting approach
