Dislikes

Poor salary hike, people loyal to the company are under appreciated, no mechanism to match the salary of existing employees as per market standards no matter how skilled or certified we are. Lazy employees who are in good books with managers are not questioned leading to more workload on employees who are hard working. Regional politics and use of regional languages by senior management.

There is not timing login and logout time restrictions when you go physically to work. But they have a tool to make sure you worked 8 hours a day. Which is good.

Dislikes

The managers don't know how to control their mouth. They talk like how a government employee will misbehave. And HRs are puppets of the managers and DU heads. Very poor env to work. Give you 150% they will treat like you did only 50% and influence your performance bonus badly. Managers take it personally if you talk against their mistake on their face.

a good management gives good results. I like most of the things in HCL. 20kms to my home and flexible hours but the wrong person to manage project ruin everything.

No hike, no early release, Hcl does not follow the policies but we need to follow the policies. zero health benefits. worst project management. Variable pays are worst of all these negative points. Helping an employee to resolve an issue is hardest part. refering own people to projects. Healthy hiring but the bench strength is bigger than what they need.

Mostly has paid promotions, it has tagline, " Supercharging Progress" progress of employer not to employees.

Worst HR, operations. They commit something, give something and act like nothing. No control on hr or operations. Not flexible work their flexible means 6 shit will start at max 07:30 ( just 2 hours window) no shift allowance, they simply don't care about employees. Company is good for idle people simply sitting monthly getting. Ambitious people can stay away. Working hours 9 hour 30 mins.

It was my first it job and it was terrible. I was in project at the time of my maternity leave.my manager gave me low rating because of my maternity in annual performance and she gave me reason as budget issue.later my hr called me and ask to resign because of low rating.

1. working hours there is no time limit of your shift. 2. Shift timing is changed every week or 2 times in a month. 3. Transport team is very bad. 4. HR said ask your questions but they guys have no answer about Appraisal or Salary increment/ promotion. 5. Appraisal is very bad like 1-5% only.

Less number of leaves. Can't apply for restricted holidays for T&M employees. Salary is less. If you are in t&m mode then forget about hike. HCL manager won't ever know of what you are working al the client office.

Worst management. They like chamcha only. Your hard work will doesn't work in HCL. they are deducting EPB from salaries of their employees. If we are reaching to them then HR stating it's management decisions and it will deduct until your rating in not 10 out of 10 and they are not giving 10 to any employee. It means they have created such policies to deduct salaries of employees. I have 127 appreciations in one calendar year and my rating was 9.7 and they have deducted 20% from monthly EPB and same has been deducted from yearly performance bonus.
