If you are offered a job with this organization, take the offer and negotiate with another organization for a better package, but DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT join them, cause they will never value you or your work, they will bring you to the brink of depression. 1. Horrible work culture - During the initial days that I joined Gupshup, Iwas given a lecture on forgetting my family life. I was continuously thrown with questions like "What do you even have to do post working hours? Stay back in the office". They believe in a system of divide and rule ( they cause issues among coworkers and create unnecessary problems between people) 2. Even if you fall sick, they don't give a damn - As a person, just on paper you are entitled to a lot of benefits, but in reality, if you ever utilize it, you become the black sheep 3. They follow procedures set 15 years back - They don't want to innovate or change or create visibility of information. The major reason is that there are so many hidden problems in the organization, that if brought to open a lot of old ducks with no capability may lose their jobs. 4. All in all this organization is run like a concentration camp, where one person calls the shots and the others just nod their heads like brainless donkeys, and by chance, you dare to SPEAK UP (their 1st value) you become the target. Nothing is good in this company for ops team ,especially for those of us in IM team. we are constantly overburden , being forced to work 12 hour shift without any consideration for work-life balance. Despite all the effort we put in, the management attitude is appalling-they keep shouting at us, showing no respect or appreciation for our hard work. There is no proper planning or support from the leadership, and instead of addressing systemic issue, they keep piling more responsibilities on us.to make things Worse, even HR is involved in this toxic cycle. if we dare to rise any concerns or share the pain we're going through, HR Simple inform the concerned manager , making the situation even worse for us. this result in targeted harassment aimed at breaking us down mentally and emotionally until we have no choice but to leave the company. but the nightmare doesn't stop there -if some one decides to resign, they are subjected to different type of torture. HR and management delay the relieving process, creating unnecessary hurdles and making it extremely difficult to move on.it feels like we trapped with no escape, constantly under pressure and stress, with no empathy or support from the organization...Read More
