I've been at this company for a few years now. I used to really like this company in my 1st year and then it all went downhill as I got to know more about the policies and how the management works.
-Extremely long working hours (11-12 per day). On top this, they do not offer any compensation for the extra time spent (no extra salaryor leaves).
-Make one mistake and your rating for the whole quarter is fcked.
-In the name of "growth" they won't let you sit back and take a breather for one minute. You will need to do a lot of extra things apart from your projects such as write articles, gather insights, share knowledge-emails, etc. All of this sounds cool but they won't give you extra time for this. You need to take out time from your personal life to do this. They say that they will keep dedicated time out of projects for such activities. However their definition of keep dedicated time is just forcing you to work on such activities during your project time and telling you to "plan your projects accordingly" without pushing back deadlines because of these extra activities.
-They will grill you the entire year giving you hopes for a promotion (which happens in October) and will share an email containing unachievable parameters for a promotion in September (one month before the appraisal). So the whole year you work thinking you'll get a promotion and they'll take that away from you at the last moment.
-The HRs are incapable of doing their jobs (especially the head HR).
-There is a clown that runs around in the company posing as a "culture manager" but really he just sides with the managers whenever someone comes to him with a problem with their manager.
The policies here are extremely employee-unfriendly:
-Only 7 WFHs per quarter.
-Leaves are not accrued across years. Nor are they encashed. So if you have not taken your leaves by the end of the year, they are gone.
-Only 2 leaves per month allotted. So if you get sick for more than 2 days in the beginning of the year, you need to take unpaid leaves.
-Favouritism is prevalent. They will not give you extended WFH even if you have a family emergency and they will let you resign in this situation if you're not one of their favourites.
I've gotten so fcking angry while writing this review lol. There's so much more to write.
Do join this company if you're looking for ways to not spend time with your loved one. This will be the best place for you then :)...Read More

They do not have a work-life balance. Most people have dark spots, health issues under 6 months from the date of joining. They show a lot of progress and prosperity but reality is much different. A good company to gather soft knowledge, a very good stepping stone company.

On first day of joining HR make fake promises, only work and work and work. Team lead fear of new joinees, my TL have zero knowledge I don’t know how she became TL. CEO is good person but upper management is poor. They talk lot about values but they don’t have any. Only people working in Telecom field is gaining experiences otherwise all are bored.

Dislikes
Poor management by senior management. They run their teams as if it’s their personal grocery store. There is no common policy set by HR dept (they side with the management no matter how wrong they are).
The managers are quite delusional as to the work going on in their teams and do not even have the capability to understand it. They worked on simple projects back in the day and had much smaller teams. Whereas they do not understand how the projects have been evolved. The reason for this is that greyB doesn’t value technical capabilities. The management have declared this multiple times openly. So you can understand how the managers are selected (people who say yes always) rather than possessing a bit of technical skill. You can also understand how well they would manage people who perform highly technical research.
Experienced people who join from other companies do not survive at GreyB because they can see through the bs. So they leave very soon....Read More
