At EY the job security is best thing you can expect and considering the work culture it's good but depend on each individual how they understand & adopt it. The leadership need to improve their thought process on utilization targets to be sync with compensation provided. The company policies has lot of scope to improve which will satisfy the employee needs.

First thing it all depends on each individual and based on my experience if you are a continuity member (started your career) at EY then your life may be stagnant or saturated after certain period of time. At EY you can learn a lot and this really excels your technical knowledge. There are lot of innovation and new tools initiativeswhich helps various teams to bring efficiency to their work process. I have more than 10 years of experience and based on my observation my career growth is slow and salary is also not good if I compare the market and other Big 4 at this level. At EY the Resource management team doesn't do the correct allocation of work. For example, if a professional work more they will assign the same professional with more work since he/she completes the work as per requirements. In other had there are professionals who doesn't work well or provide timely response to the assigned task but they still get less work. The leadership need to take strong step against because the professionals are very lenient and doesn't improve. The appraisal are happening twice a year but I don't see any improvement in mine. I started my career at EY and have been continuing now for almost 10 years. I Thank EY for helping me grow in US taxation and they conduct lot of training sessions which will help you grow your knowledge and keep updated on tax technical.
