Their is nothing to like about they make you work for over 10-12 hrs a day without any recognition
The culture is very toxic with office politics always taking first place. Even if you outperform your peers you will not get appraisal or bonus because office politics may not allow it

No one is supporting.even reporting person also not support. While joining said you need to work from home no need to come in office, after few days said u need to report daily basis in office. It's very pathetic service and lot's of work pressure here.

GDS- Full on toxic culture. On very first week your manager expects you to work on weekends without even having some empathy. No relevant data science projects. Colleagues won't even talk to you properly - hostile nature. Stay away if you can. Even if you lose 5 lacks, here that extra money is not worth it.
Gen AI and Data Science - No, even you are paid higher due to Gen AI role. Forget of relevant work. They will put on some random excel analysis, PPT work, automation with Ms Power Tool, model validation etc. Work life balance - Hehe, what is that? Most of the people here are from big 4 who takes pride in working 15 hours and weekends. They lack understanding of tech but are confident to say garbage. The management is relaxed in terms of granting the leaves even if it is unplanned. No one disturbs during off time and after office hours. People are around to provide helping hand whenever stuck. Hikes and bonus is better than most companies around.
Lesser projects with better technologies and lesser growth opportunities in terms of tech stack. Many legacy applications are still operative which requires people to work on legacy technologies.

In Tech Consulting the management is not bothered until you keep clients happy. You enjoy a freedom and flexibility to work as per client team. You won't be micromanaged from EY.
Hikes are less, even if your feedback was nice. It's like everyone gets the same hike, irrespective of the individual performances.

IF you are a good "A$$-licker" your job is safe, in fact they will create positions for you with made-up names.
in 2020 EY outsourced it's IT to IBM, exactly 1 year before that, the favorites of THE Big Boss transferred themselves (Not even an internal job was posted) to safer departments. These are the one's who never worked on a single issue, project or incident. Their only talent was spooning. When companies ask why they are loosing their reputation, it's NEPOTISM AND RACISM.
