Good company culture and people.
I worked as an contractor for two busy seasons. Extra long working hours. They expect a chargeable hours of 13 per day and actual hours go beyond 16-17 hours and also need to work over the weekends. They provide permanent opportunity for only qualified CA's but not the really skilled employees with better feedbacks.
Hectic. Work from 9 am to 2 am.

Hardly anything good other than office parties, huddles and hybrid working model. Job security is there just because they won't easily fire you as even they know that won't be able to get a replacement as good as you in that petty budget.
Too much of internal politics, linguistic & regional favoritism and division in between teammates and sub teams. Hardly any good appraisals either. Overtime is highly normalized, expecting you be available 24x7 for them.

I don't understand their FTE conecpt, most of the Employees in Govt Advisory are hired on FTE basis and even though most of them do BDEV along with project they are not part of company bonus. Any one who has been working on multiple things should be part of company bonus as per my view. To convert to on roll from FTE is still shady and many people don't know how to get it done

This is big firm but having multiple small teams which makes a full big organization, so ultimately you will be working under one partner & size of the team would be 50-100 so, it's similar to startup company, 2. You will feel lot of micromanagements. 3. there will be No guarantee for your job, any time they can say you TATA, Bye-Bye. 4. Work life balance completely depends on your client. Learning materials are good. Not much interference from EY TEAM as you will hve limited interaction with them ,mostly with clients.
