Job security and most of the entry level jobs are available. you can learn basics thing like basic excel.

Dislikes

Appraisal is worse you will get only 2.5 to 8%(Rs 200 to Rs1000) hike and there is only one reason this year budget is low an you know market conditions. You will get benefit only if you are working on managerial positions. Work life balance is like not good not bad.

Eclerx provide good food at affordable prices. Infrastructure is also good. Toilets infrastructure is clean. They also provide Newspapers for reading which was best part for me. You can sit in Cafeteria and spend time reading but they keep music on which is distracting sometimes. Salary is always on time. DLF building also has Table tennis and volleyball.

I was part of a process in which during winter season the workload got significantly reduced due to which we had lot of free time. So during that free time I wanted to read newspapers and articles on laptop to keep myself updated and stay engaged in something which unfortunately was not allowed due to IT security policy. That's the only reason I had to leave apart from that everything was fine for me personally. I have 1 star to work life balance because I worked in Night shifts which effects you work life balance. You feel sleepy on weekend day but you are awake in Night like a OWL. You cannot go visit a market or chill outside because it's dark. You cannot go to Park or Mountains at odd hours. Operations are literally like a scam, you would be forced to do sales with target in the name of customer support and above that there's zero incentives for sales. The work life balance does not exist and the management doesn't care about any employee. The only thing they want is numbers and sales!

Many managers were supportive and promoted healthy environment.

Dislikes

The managers at my last project were totally toxic and made everyone to work 14 hours a day, compulsory WFO at no extra pay, even for people who stayed more than 100 kms away, close to 30 people resigned in 4 months. Also illegal misuse of PCIP(Performance correction program) without any clear proof and many put into VRP pool(bench), again no specific reason and HR played blind to these managers. People leaving eclerx after 1-3 years because of low payment. Salary is nothing compared to the market. . Because of that people with least skills are getting jobs here.. and people without long-term personal goals can't do any better with company goals either. They are becoming bad managers and they wouldn't know how to utilise team skills. . There are many learning platforms but we don't have time out of work or in general life to learn them. Sometimes we have to work 16 Hrs a day because of poor management. . Appraisals are nothing but a joke. Just joke! What percentage would matter if you are already getting paid in pennies? Worst Work Environment, I experienced in my life. It was my first job ever. In initial 2-3 months they will be behaving like they are the best managers in the world they are so caring. They will keep the fix rotational time . But after 2-3 months they keep all the existing times in 1 week only. For example - if today my shift time is 12:30 am to 9:30am my tomorrow's shift will be 6:30pm to 3:30am or 4:30 to 1:30am . Like seriously??? And also in the work load they won't give us break time to time . If I will be 5 mins late because of customer. They will blame us for dragging the chat and we will miss our breaks and now We have to wait for more 2 hours. Or sometimes if we are having shift time of 4:30 our first break will be at 9:30pm. Like seriously??? What we gonna do till then . Why should we starve due to LAT team requirement. Also they adjust our weekoffs without our permission then they just say that," hum aapke liye break times adjust karte hai . Toh aap ye hamare liye karo na. ". Seriously man I was so done with the company and they are literally pressurizing us with their behaviour and sales target. I understand sales target is also important. Work culture is really very poor, pls don’t expect any work life balance. I had to stretch 4-5 hours ahead of my shift time to handle the volume spike without any kind of appreciation for the efforts . This was my personal experience might vary from team to team.

Lack of peers and management support, unclear expectation at the time of joining and afterwards. No support to sustain in the role. High politics. Not a healthy environment to work. One advice, if you are a person who know how to mold words, things and manipulative then join else avoid it. Otherwise this will cost your career.
