Best place to work especially for any youngster who can grow in his/her carrier for upto a level and this must be the best organization for a Women Employee...lots of growth opportunity with empowerment is shown ..they have a wonderful DEI culture. Overall a good place for young and dynamic individuals

Sadly although they are a 180years organization the don't have a sense of Job security especially for the senior, seasoned employee and many times pink slip is given leaving dedicated employees in the dark.

For candidates upto consultant level its great place to be.. you get to develop your skills both technical and interpersonal. Algo great fir manager level folks. not so good for senior engineers.. you will mostly be stuck in promotion race, politics, limited technical skills development

everything apart from the pro mentioned. the manegement do not care about your career, well being, mental health, money etc all they care about it that you just get deployed on a project wheather it is related to your skills or not and if you say no to the project given then there could be some threating.

Worst worst work culture.... No work life balance you'll get. You have to work 15 hrs a day but your senior ask you work more.... Even then you'll get no recognition. They'll simply give bad remarks for how much work you did, which will affect your salary, promotion and bonuses. Life in deloitte purely depends on the team you are getting. But you have to be very lucky!

Nothing, all managers are indian and it's typical indian company with high politics.

Even you work hard, it's not appropriated also if you help some one rather than who is helping other person who is getting help is appreciated. As indian company tremendous politics towards ratings and favouritism is at very high level.

Deloitte Consulting being my first company will always hold a special place in my heart. I learnt everything I could for my career here, had the best managers, good work life balance (as much as can be expected in IT Consulting), competitive salaries and lots of learning opportunities.

Dislikes

Depending on project / client, work hours could stretch past normal consistently and some weekend work would be required (1 / 2 weeks per month).. Promotions for senior resources have lot of additional extra curriculars expected even if your project is demanding which delays promotions to managerial roles.

Lower level employees are treated like machines and their requests or complaints are not listened by HR or senior level managers. HR department will not reply to emails if you are not accepting what they are enforcing on you. There is no growth and employees who are dearest to managers will get most of the benifits.
