Only good thing is udemy, linkedin learning is free. Rest all is going to drain your energy. From management to peers everyone just seeks than giving.

Dislikes

Work culture and Talent services are pretty bad. If there is an issue, they will tend to be biased towards female employees although the whole issue is on woman side. This is pseudo feministic centric firm. Managers are worst. They try to supress those who are good at process and make dumbos sit on top and guess what ..could be a female offerring services..

Work-life balance including leave policies and work culture is pretty balanced, and conducive for WFH and satisfactory time for personal life. Pay is as per standards, good hike provided.

Dislikes

USI job security is not there, especially for government and public services division. Job description/specification is not defined at all! Performance evaluation criteria is below par and job security is next to none/nil. Supervisors can give the work to do and then evaluate that - not wait for unknown work to be done and evaluate that emp. based on no work done when there is nothing at all to do. You're asked to show what's exactly done on each hour of your 9 hours a day - extreme micromanagement (when there is no work available or assigned to do)....Read More

Email communication for Retention?

I received a retention offer from my company and I was expecting to receive an email communication about the revised CTC approval/confirmation. My manager and I also had a prior discussion in Nov about this. Though the offer is approved, I am yet to receive a formal email. I did follow up with my manager about the same and he suggested to go ahead and inform the other company HR about my offer withdrawal. But he has not sent the email confirmation yet. What should I do? It will be a delay to inform other HR, but I will feel more comfortable and aligned with an email communication, which was anyway discussed before. Feeling stressed. Kindly suggest.

Deloitte provides good compensation benefits and other facilities like 24*7 cafeteria.

Dislikes

Deloitte is an organization where the hard work, skills, talent doesn't count. Lots of internal politics and management unfortunately is not compassionate.
