Worst work management, all they need is work to be done irrespective of knowledge you had, if your are a java developer, they'll ask you write code in php and get it done ASAP. They say they'll follow agile methodology but in reality they follow spreadsheets and no billable hours given until you asked 100 times, in the mean time you'll get senior leader mails for not maintaining proper timesheets. The people at Deloitte. It’s all about them. The culture is great and they pay well. I feel If you are working in a consulting environment, you cannot complain about the work. You just enjoy work and take those disconnects to relax and refill. They are paying well so I don’t have any complaints

Dislikes

I would not say it is about Deloitte but yeah It is about a few people at the leadership level and I feel, people at that level should be honest and reliable because their decisions have a larger impact on employees.

The work eventually becomes mundane. Despite multiple upskilling and certification options available, there is hardly any time or patience remaining after work to pursue those. So, more or less, you're doomed with what you learn on the project.

Really comfortable environment which allows you to manage your personal commitments without any pushback. Freedom in how and when we work, especially compared to similar profiles outside Deloitte.

Dislikes

Due to saturation, growth opportunities are limited. The evaluation process is quite frankly a black box and difficult to gauge how to get ahead of expectations to be promoted.

Company culture is good and lots of learning opportunities. Infact it is encourage to get certified and large monetary awards are also provided if you get certified in the correct technology as per your level.

Dislikes

Degrading benefits and hikes as the headcount keeps increasing. Good talent keeps leaving the firm for better opportunities and the new hires haven't generally been as good in the last 2-3 years.

Deloitte is the perfect company if you are a well-talented, smart, and strategic thinker. People with the above skill set do not feel stressed or have an impact on work life balance. For others who are not very smart and lazy, they feel stressed.
