Projects are good...all on S4 hana. But some clients have complete Z projects which is not good for learning. They are slowly extending towards public cloud

Dislikes

Very retarted policy of promotions. U need combination of FI and Project to get promotion to maanger. Secondly u will be compared with over excited peers who will definitely be ahead of you,even though you over work yourself.

Deloitte is good in terms of compensation, however given the market conditions for the year 2024 the increments were not really good.

Deloitte as a big4 has many positives on its own starting from work life balance, wellbeing centric towards employees and keeping us updated on the latest tools etc,

Employees are not being valued. The career growth is very stunted and the work environment is bit of toxic and biased feedback from the coaches and even if we tend to highlight this to management it turns a blind eye on us. Company is good, policies are good. However people in it misuse the power, designation & speak a lot about ethics but of no use the team is.

Dislikes

Ethics, Leadership is full of politics, influence, retaliation. Less priority on your work deliverables, only focus on people when it comes to performance rating. Bad rating system, everything is in managers hands, only way here to grow is be in the good books of your manager, agree toevery shit he/she says. Hypocrisy & there is nothing great about Deloitte. No appreciation No acknowledgement Awards/rewards/appraisals are too much biased. Repeated candidates will only get these things. Salary packages are given irrespective of experience and contributions. They promote 3 years experience employee as asst manager and they hire 8 years experience employee as asst.manager. No proper balance among the expertise and skills They promote undeserved people (such as people who are already serving notice period) and ignore employees who are genuinely contributing their efforts and time. Lack of appreciations and acknowledgement even though the resource has worked on a project for entire quarter. Disappointments in hikes and appraisals. No support from the management when an issue is raised between employee and client. Micro management Some DM s are completely useless in handling team, assigning projects depending on skills.
