DBS follows rules, that's great. Employee benefits are good, but not the salary.

Dislikes

But it won't identify the working employees. Bank will not give tranning to staff. Here we can do only hard work, not smart work. In our branch every employee is feeling tourchure. This is kind of employee Harrsement. Harrsement of work load. No time for washroom or tea break. Work work work finally it turns to stress and unhealthy. DBS won't give salary as in market.

For a fresher this is the best company, but moving onto next few years after will be challenging to cope up with DBS work culture.

Doesn't give enough time for a developer, will be hard to deliver quality products. Also we stick up with same project when we start and will be very difficult to switch between projects as managers doesn't let you go or want to give up you from the project

No proper knowledge at top management. Lvbians in cluster head level to top management will be washout. Than only the DBS will improve.

Line manager is everything, he decides your rating, increment, bonus. HR is just a yes man to whatever reporting manager says. Lot of good policies on paper but at ground level not much. HR is absolutely not reachable
