No work life balance, they don't have enough resources and due to which I had to work when I were on leave also. They force to work from office and behaviour of boss is so hectic and informal.

If you are on permanent payroll Dbs bank is the best company to work for..... Amazing office setup... regular training modules are mandatory for skill development Company has amazing facilities like Itq points Flexi benefits etc which is very employee friendly

Job security is in minus for contractual employees...you r at mercy of supervisors...they can use silent fire policy to replace employees they feel are not aligned to thier way of work Promotion again is at mercy of supervisors Salary increment again at mercy of supervisors Company culture is again person specific.... Employees can be at receiving end for voicing their opinions But DBS Bank has good work culture....very strict on policies.....you learn lot as there is scope .... Overall if you can align with higher management it's best place provided you are permanent payroll as well Respect is very less for juniors and they are expected to only follow instructions from seniors which is ok when seniors are supportive and understanding enough for teammates But any protest to any disrespectful behaviour in work terms will cost you your job...Read More

Good Employee oriented bank that needs to improve in process. Simplify lengthy processes to benefit customers. If system and processes gets streamlined this bank is great bank to work.

Dislikes

System Bank processes with no proper TAT. No ownership expected from others or juniors. Everything is Branch Manager here. Even basic operations are questioned only to branch heads and not even to branch operation head or other branch operation staffs. Branch Manager need to look after business and also basic operations which is unlikely with other top banks. Earlier when DTI was growing it was good place to be.

Dislikes

1- more that 50% of time is wasted in process and very less time for actual development work. 2- Very biased environment towards Singapore employees and very poor credibility of DTI guys. 3- Poor appraisal policies now. 4- No phycological safety

It is highly appreciated work culture. Bank is providing lot of benefits to employees. Many opportunities available individual can develop the knowledge even cross department. Opportunities to move across various departments. All you need to have high positive approach.

Only few people from top management bringing their previous employers style of working which bank to restrict.

For a fresher this is the best company, but moving onto next few years after will be challenging to cope up with DBS work culture.

Doesn't give enough time for a developer, will be hard to deliver quality products. Also we stick up with same project when we start and will be very difficult to switch between projects as managers doesn't let you go or want to give up you from the project

Newbies from other bank can get all benefits with high salary hike. If you are belongs to cluster head community you will get all benefits without work

No proper knowledge at top management. Lvbians in cluster head level to top management will be washout. Than only the DBS will improve.
