I like it how the Management is so upfront about making their statements like "Our experience is not good with experienced people". and they were successfully able to align all the experienced people who LEFT Crest (one way by resigning and another by absconding) to better companies! KUDOS to that! but honestly, this was sarcasm & Crest was a terrible experience to work with!

Dislikes

Management is stuck with their old ideas, no innovation they want to do. They want to copy all the policies of the companies (which they "THINK" is easily available on the world wide web) and then say they are the best IT company in Ahmedabad (within 25 IT companies).

The only thing I like is that, you're free to work any where. You're not required to sit at your desk and do your task.

Dislikes

1. NO actual development work is there. They just try to fool the customer. 2. NO work life balance. Manager pressurise to work after hours and expect us to be on time in morning as well. NO OverTime is provided. 3.Appraisal rating criteria is the worst. If you're doing your job perfectly they will rate you 3 out of 5, as you're just doing your job. Learning and experience with MNC projects

Work life balance is very poor in some departments. A lot of people are on bench with no projects. People who are delivering real monetary profits to company are not getting the value they deserve. This profit is utilised for all the cost of benched workforce with including their incremental. Incremental structure is way to poor. Asa result, people from one salary cycle gets way better increment than other due to some 3rd grade stupid policy implemented by HR and Management for clear and complete discrimination. Company has put up some policies to not compare salaries with other employees but company can compare the work you deliver with other employees, basically continuing discrimination and still hiding behind some stupid policies. Company has very poor implementation of benefits and zero bonus no matter how hard you work. WFH is available if you can get permission. If you are a girl, it becomes piece of cake and if you are a boy then Good luck my friend. The simple way was to have fixed WFH Count for every year allowed to you where you can take when you need as per your requirements. It is am amazing company, fun environment, no micro management and entire leadership is very supportive of people. They take care of employees manage their work life balance very well. I have been here for 2 years and this is much much much better then the previous Pune companies that I have worked for. I am happy for this decision.

There is a lot of freedom to work and play. The customers are good and management is good as long as you perform. I liked my time working here.

Unfortunately I am moving to the US after working at CDS for 2 years. I would not have left if it was not the move. I loved every bit of it. the work environment and work culture and management and HR is all very good. It is a great first job and I learnt so much. I would strongly recommend CDS.

Company is going strong in this economy. I ave been working here for 3 year. It is very employee friendly company. Work environment is very flexible. There is no micro mgmt. There is a lot of flexibility on WFH and loan and other perks. The only criteria is that you have to perform.

I am loving the culture. Very flexible, transparent and no micro management. There is definitely a lot of focus on delivery and customer but if you do your job right, you will grow significantly faster then others. Projects are decent. All customers are US so there is definitely good work culture.
