Nothing as it never give much options to upgrade your skills and most of the projects are of support dur to which your career will be ruined.

Dislikes

Even if theere is a vacancy in projects, hiring managers will not respond to you in most cases. If you come on bench, then it'll be a big trouble for you to get a new project and in many cases you'll get terminate from their side. Perks and appraisals are very bad.

If you get a good team all would work out well. Also you get a lot of good courses for free, reimbursement option is also there. And opportunity of higher study with the organizations they have tie up with.

Dislikes

1. Very less learning opportunities with good technology in the project given to freshers. Even if you do their full stack developer training, changing the domain and getting the role would be a real pain. Hike is very less. Managers are mostly bad.

1.Job security of cognizant is very good, u won't be fired until or unless u have performed very very bad for your team or repeatedly committed mistakes for your client.(I have not seen any one fired till now) 2.work culture of cognizant is very nice.When we use to be in office we use to have many competitions, intra team games (some times u will be rewarded if u win) and u can play a lot( TT ) in cafeteria. 3.Management is something which I think is not good for some projects (Metlife) but many of my friends from other projects say they have a very good managers and transparent management. 4.company policies will never let u down,It always keep on changing with change in higher management..and u wont have any problems regarding this....Read More

Only thing I and every other cognizant worker don't like about cognizant is that u can never change projects, technology, domain etc etc and taking release from project is a big headache.Its like you have to swim an ocean and still it's difficult weather u will find any island or not..

At beginning u will have your honeymoon time in acedemy and in first couple of months in project, & after your kt u will have some problems but u will know how to manage it. Being absolutely genuine work life depends upon your project, team and client .

The teammates are highly cooperative. The process of salary appraisal is decent. A separate learning application is available for self learning. Work enviroment is well and good enough.
