This probably depends on the project but yes my team is amazing here. Always very supportive and helpful. Even though there are unwanted situations and stuff, but yeah overall it’s good.

Worst company, hell lot of discrimination between India and Manila. Management is worst and just care about how to loot money from client and warm their own pockets. No work life balance, worst of its kind.

Dislikes

Everything nothing good, they don't give you salary as what you do, no holiday, you need to work in india holiday and you need to work in US holiday as well. Management only do back hitching here. Don't ever join team under any philippians specially Joy Mendoza she is worst of her kind.

Lots of micro management in certain projects. Scrum masters are the biggest culprits in certain projects, they say they are backing the resources but they keep trying to impress only the clients. There is a project named Remit*o worst project ever in my life only 1 day off rotational if you take 2nd week off manager get angry they force to do 7thdays it and end of the month they didn't give you the extra payout becz thay have fixed unbelievable target that everyone cat met that. HR not support they always told do whatever your manager says, even they force to came by self and didn't given self allowance. Silently they have fired anyone without any reason. I was forced to work on weekends as well. Got a frustrated onsite lead who once got high and abused my mother on an early morning call. It was notified to the management, they first played politics in making be believe that he will be replaced and will be fired from the company. Cognizant is really very good company. All HR staff is also very good. Having opportunities for growth and learning new skills.

Dislikes

If process get shutdown you will be on bench/ hold for some particular days, till you get new process. And if no new process available in that particular time. You will be relieve from the company. Less job security.
