Aricent has good clients like cisco.Most of the project in cisco ODC are controlled by cisco managers.Altran managers only there to approve timesheets and giving rating according to there wish at end of every year.An engineer in cisco odc gets lots of resource to study and upgrade there knowledge.

Dislikes

compensation is not satisfactory here.Here people gain knowledge and leave immediately.Rating is not given in correct manner,it is always biased.Altran manager prefer only to give good ratings which they are controlling directly, while enginners in cisco controlled project not getting good rating by altran managers.eventually peopleleave company due to this attitude.Also when people resign from here , they are given option of counter offer like L1 USA visa.by giving this kind of counter offer they want people to take back resignation....Read More

There are some good opportunities for onsite.Although,preference is given not on the basis of skills but rather on the basis of your relationship with managers

Preferential treatment is given to people who are manager's favourite for any opportunity and not on the basis of skills or performance .Some of the managers are very rude.One of my manager even threatened me to stay back late after office hours otherwise I will face consequences,even though i had to catch a train that day and no prior heads up was given that I might need to stay back late.Work life balance is poor in some projects.I have even stayed in office for more than 24 hours continuously.Even after working for more than 10 hours daily,manager says not to expect anything in premises.Some of the managers ask for status report at the end of the day with task performed in each hour,even when you are on bench....Read More
