Company is much dependant on their manager, all HR services has been outsourced. So if something goes wrong with the manager then he can toss up your appraisal as well as promotion. There is weekend for you and extensive work hours are expected from you as a normal norm.

Lot of work pressure and difficult to maintain work life balance environment is scattered and no proper streamlined process in place, lack of head count due to cost cutting in each project hence too much work pressure, people just runs for making number for apprisal , lack of new technologies training so no skill upgrade.

One of the best organization to work with. Few major pros I will list : Work life balance is highly maintained. You get to work on latest technologies and tools. IJP process is best in industry. You can easily change your project by giving inhouse interviews. Promotion is based on vacancies and internal interviews with fairly high degree of impartiality. Yearly bonus is good. Transport is free.

The company culture is worst and not at all reliable. You get no support from your managers at any point of time even you have not done any mistake. Worst and toxic culture for a women to work. No importance to your work and they give importance only to your silly mistakes done once or twice for the year.

Redudancies are impacting resources in last 2 years. They are backfilling resources at highers rates from vendors by removing employees. Also capable and deserving males are not getting promotions as most of the positions are reserved for diversity.

In Barclays, there is no or weak HR, line manager are made without their skills and caliber, Line manager post is more on favouritism rather than those who deserve it. Line manager make their own rules and decisions and no work ethics i have seen.

People friendly atmosphere and also they provide cab facilities and one time meal which actually is a good option to survive there

Dislikes

Appraisals are not nice and if an employee is facing any hardships in his or her profile they hardly take any action just to support them in terms of moving that employee to some other profile so that it wouldn’t cause them mentally pressure

The office space is good, work is intresting if your teams works on solving for core banking technologies, pay is average but if you bargain hard there is a chance they might stretch their budget. Team cultures is pretty laid back with middle aged folks who want to settle in their roles.

Dislikes

There's a fair amount of office politics, people usually settle into their role and don't adapt quickly to new technologies and being a bank innovative solutions take a back step and all the soltions have to be vetted for security approvals

Worst management, Noida management, no respect for their employees. Everything Noida management does for Pune location Barclays, all VP's , AVP's and trainers are corrupted and involved with each other for harrassing and targetting employees. Do not even think of going in Barclays as personal banker retail voice process. They will torture you utmost. Making you feel to leave organisation at any cost.
