Work life balance is good. You don't have to work beyond office hours. General office facilities are good.

The work and decision making completely lies with Australia. India is just an extension of Australia. Local management is just for coordinating with Australia management and to escort top management whenever they visit India. Job opportunities are very limited with low end work available in India. You will never get to work on any project independently. In case of any conflict with Australian counterparts, they will always be right. Contradicting them would affect your career. If you happen to work with a Chinese in Australia office, be ready to face extreme harassment (90% chance). Job security is biggest issues with ANZ. They are restructuring the company for last 7 years. Any day could be your last day without any major reason unless you are a Christian. Career growth and performance management is terrible. You have to have good connections for that or be ready to linger in one position for years together, being completely de-individuated.
