The problem with amex is that many department are understaffed and they don't hire people resulting into employees cannot take leaves or has to work more hours to show there productivity

Same typical egotistic managers who hide behind the aura of helping rather than actually helping. No job security at Amex. Appraisals are basis how you get along with your bosses.

My team leader pressured me so much in terms for going out for dinners lunches etc and when I started avoiding he made sure that my performance chart was good enough to not to shift me to anyother team as I kept on apply internally..moreover when i reached out to the HR for harrassment complaint she took his side even when I provided evidence. The TLs here are very very wierd especially the old men who are waiting for the prey be careful as the internal system as well supports them worst work culture...Read More

My Overall experience with team Amex is not good. team culture is not ideal. There's expectional work beyond shift hours. and heirachy is such that no one listen to you. Adiitionally working on saturday and sunday is required.

Nothing, there’s nothing, If you want to be a corporate slave and just work like a machine then only you can be in this American Express company.

Dislikes

Everything, They don't give opportunities to grow and learn until you are at least 5 years in company whether your performance is good or best. I have seen people getting promoted who are only working from past 5 or 7 years. It’s too much stress on work, management is never in your favour.
