There is not much to like while working at Amdocs. The facilities they are provided are good like gym, fruits, cabs etc....

Dislikes

The job security is the worst part. I had joined Amdocs as a fresher and had just worked on a project for seven months and I was laid off without my performance review and the worst part is there is alot biasing based on where your native is .

Work life balaance is avarage. If you are lucky, then you will get good seniors.

Lots of politics is present inside. You can see the favoritism. If you have not started your career with the company then they don't consider you as a loyal employee of the company(After two years my manager says that you are new here). Nothing to like here. Favorism on peak. Management is bad.

Salary hike and bonus are only applicable for favourite employee. Good employee will only get work pressure. Managers are running this company as their baaps company. They are thinking like they are god. Overall its a very bad company to work.

Even no work culture. Everyone think amdocs mean work life balance . I don't think there is work for Everyone and whoever is working he is working 24*7 and some who don't have work they are enjoying 24*7 . They says Hybrid working but belive me it depends on managers if they want you have to attend office all 7 days including your sat/sun

The company is good to work for, has a great culture in terms of employe centricity and work life balance The people here are helpful and not very toxicity atleast in my team The company tries not to lay off anyone too easily.

Bro no sequrity in job, about hike and promote it depends on company mood if they want to give they will if they don't want they don't and they layoff.

Free fruits every day of the week. Biriyani on Fridays. Udemy subscription so you can learn any course for free. Israelis are generally very welcoming and respectful.

For me it was personal. I didn't like my team. As I found them to be toxic.

Everything is good but this is subjective to project or role. Best part of Amdocs is, it provide lateral project switch after a certain period with the hike. Additionally, benefits like subsidized food and cab, good work life balance.

Nowadays lot of uncertainty with the job security. Previously, Amdocs use to have good job security.

Overall work balance is fine which is both good and bad as quility of work is not that great and working on new market technologies is also not that much prominent.

Dislikes

Lack of learning opportunities of new cutting edge technologies. Lack of financial growth. The higher management is kind of ignorant towards the financial growth of the existing old employees. There are very scarce and limited projects where you can see the actual development work, rest most of the departments are just providing support and services. It's shifting towards a service based company.

Not systemized and unclear with internal processes. Though change is constant, additional responsibilities or efforts less appreciated or recognized. Salary hike is not appropriate with the level of work expected and provided in return.

Back office (BC) - GL and TL rude behaviour. Toxic environment. GL force to work 10 to 15 hrs. GL and TL not listening employee issue. They set work target for new employee or experience same. Toxic work environment(almost everywhere) No personal growth. They keep up forcing you to learn but they never values your knowledge. I have struggled for 3+ years for IJP to technical team and finally decided to move ahead from this company. You work on company tools but they would be of no use outside the company.

I heared that amdocs is good company. So had oppurtinity to give an interview. It was very smooth process during all interview rounds. Even I cleared the interview.

Dislikes

The major and important thing about Amdocs is after clearing interview they started with my documentations but I haven't received an offer letter yet and very surprised its been an around 3 months now I haven't received any update and even no offer letter.

Very open work culture, suitable for learning. Open for internal opportunities. Flexible timing and unlimited vacation policy is something that is really unique.

Not that i can think of anything but there is always scope for improvement. Personal Opinion: Top layer management is not mostly comfortable delegating core R&R to Indian employees. Sometimes it can be taken as unconscious Bias.
