Job Overview:
We are seeking a visionary HR leader to head the human resources function for our Batteries and Renewable Energy division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving HR strategy, fostering organizational growth, and building high-performing teams in a dynamic and evolving industry. This role requires strategic acumen, operational excellence, and a passion for sustainability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the division's growth objectives and sustainability goals.
- Partner with business leaders to anticipate workforce needs and create solutions that drive productivity and innovation.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, with a focus on attracting top talent for roles in battery manufacturing, R&D, and renewable energy operations.
- Create robust workforce planning strategies to meet the evolving needs of the renewables sector.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building:
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that align with the company's mission and values.
Learning & Development:
- Design and implement training programs to upskill employees in advanced battery technologies, renewables, and related domains.
- Promote leadership development programs to build a strong talent pipeline.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Act as a key advisor on HR policies, ethical practices, and legal compliance.
HR Operations:
- Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS to ensure seamless HR operations.
- Drive digital transformation in HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Diversity & Inclusion:
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to build a diverse workforce that reflects the company's commitment to sustainability and innovation.
- Implement policies that promote gender balance and equal opportunity.
Performance Management:
- Lead the design and execution of performance management systems that encourage accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Align individual and team goals with organizational objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background: Postgraduate degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fields (e.g., MBA-HR, MA in HRM).
Experience:
- 15 to 25 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in renewable energy, battery manufacturing, or allied industries.
- Proven track record of managing HR in technology-driven, fast-paced environments.
- Deep understanding of labor laws, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage both high-level initiatives and day-to-day operations.
- Passionate about sustainability and fostering a green culture.
