Qualifications :

Essential :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2.

Preferred :

- Master's degree in Cyber Security or a relevant field.

- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or CompTIA Security+.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of security analysts, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance reviews.

- Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and incident response plans.

- Oversee security monitoring and threat detection operations, ensuring rapid response to security incidents.

- Investigate, analyze, and remediate advanced security threats, breaches, and vulnerabilities.

- Optimize and maintain security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability management systems.

- Conduct penetration testing and security audits to assess system resilience.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, DevOps, Compliance) to ensure security best practices are followed.

- Ensure regulatory compliance with frameworks such as GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, and industry best practices.

- Provide leadership in security awareness training, fostering a culture of cybersecurity within the organization.

- Stay ahead of emerging threats and recommend new security technologies and methodologies.

- Expertise in threat intelligence, incident response, and forensic investigations.

- Advanced knowledge of cyber risk management, security architecture, and compliance frameworks.
