Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Dy. CFO) - Metro

About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Dy. CFO) to join our dynamic team.
- This role is integral to managing the financial health of the organization and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
- The Dy. CFO will have extensive involvement in finance management, tax strategy, treasury operations, and strategic planning, particularly in the infrastructure or similar industries.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling large-scale financial operations, managing financial risks, and providing leadership in key financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance and Financial Control:
- Oversee the company's financial management, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control efforts.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Tax Expertise:
- Possess a strong understanding of tax regulations, compliance, and planning.
- Optimize tax strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Manage and mitigate tax liabilities while staying ahead of legislative changes.
Treasury Management:
- Manage liquidity, capital structure, funding, and financial risk management strategies.
- Develop and implement effective investment strategies to optimize financial health.
- Oversee banking relationships and ensure efficient cash flow management.
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Lead long-term financial strategy development, including financial modeling and forecasting.
- Contribute to mergers, acquisitions, and advising on business growth initiatives.
- Provide insights and analysis to drive business decisions and strategic direction.
Industry Knowledge (Infrastructure/Similar):
- Bring a deep understanding of capital-intensive industries such as infrastructure, construction, or utilities.
- Demonstrate experience in managing financial oversight of large-scale infrastructure projects, including project financing, cost management, and contractual obligations.
- Navigate complex regulatory frameworks and manage risks effectively.
Communication Skills:
- Articulate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders, including the board, senior leadership, and external partners.
- Present financial insights to influence decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed financial reports, investor communications, and regulatory filings.
- Ensure transparency and clarity in financial presentations and strategic updates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of experience in finance, with a focus on financial control, treasury management, tax strategy, and strategic planning.
- Proven track record in the infrastructure or similar capital-intensive industries.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in managing large-scale projects and financial complexities.
- Exceptional strategic thinking with a clear understanding of long-term business goals.
